How to make money Blogging?

How to Make Money Blogging

1. Affiliate Marketing.

This is the #1 best way for newbie bloggers to start monetizing their blogs.

So, what is affiliate income, and how should you promote it?

Creating affiliate income just means you promote a product you really believe in and stand behind on your blog and you use a special affiliate link to promote that product then when any of your readers click that link they’re taken to the website and you get a commission when that person makes a purchase.

So let’s talk about three of the top types of blog posts you can use to create affiliate income because you don’t wanna just post affiliate links all over your site that’s really not effective, you have to be strategic and write posts to where people who read those posts are gonna be in the right position to go ahead and purchase the product.

So the three types of blog posts I strongly recommend are:

  1. A Review blog post — This is basically where just review the product, so for example if you have a camera that you use every day and you really enjoy for your photography blog you might write a product review of that camera and link out to it using your affiliate link.
  2. A Tutorial blog post — This is the one I have had the most success with and it’s just where you teach someone how to use the product that you are an affiliate for, do for example if you really a certain type of software you can write a tutorial blog post on how to use that software on your blog and then all the links would be affiliate links within the post.
  3. A Round-up blog post — This is just a list-style blog post where you mention a whole lot of products you use and enjoy, now not every product in your round-up needs to be an affiliate link but at least one or more of them if possible.

And again make sure everything you recommend is something you really believe in and feel comfortable recommending to your audience.

All these types of blog posts work really well because it’s not just a sales pitch right?

You are actually providing value to your audience and teaching them something useful involving the product you are promoting, so it creates that win-win situation, your audience gets valuable content and you get a commission that is exactly what you want to aim for.

P.S: Don’t be that asshole who posts a bunch of random affiliate links or stuff that you don’t even believe in, stuff that you don’t even really stand behind.

This is not a strategy where you literally fill your website/blog with links just to make a quick buck, you only wanna promote products that you genuinely have used or believed in because you don’t wanna break trust with your audience.

Plus just promote a bunch of stuff that you don’t really stand behind to the people who are coming to your website/blog and supporting you by reading your content.  It just kind of makes you a jerk, so definitely don’t do that it’s not worth it.

Sponsored posts are one of the most lucrative ways to monetize your blog and a great way to open up a healthy revenue stream while still maintaining control over your website.

Sponsored posts are articles that the bloggers are paid to publish on their own blogs by companies and brands related to that blog’s niche or topic. They can be written by either the blogger or by the sponsoring brand itself.

If you’re hired to write the post as well as publish it on your site, obviously you’ll charge more money than if you’re essentially just renting space on your blog.

Sponsored posts can take a variety of formats, such as reviews, summaries of an offer or offers, announcements of a sale, roundup/list posts, product announcements, videos, and infographics.

You can also display ads on your blog by joining other ad networks such as Media.net (this is a very popular one), AdThrive, and many others.

4. Creating Your Own Digital Products.

Creating your own digital products is the best way to make money from a blog is simply by selling your own digital products.

For instance, you can create a free report that will solve one of the problems in your niche, you can create a free video tutorial, or you can even sell an eBook.
